Over the years, we've met some interesting people who love to cycle and choose to wear Rocket7's. Here's a list of a few names that we like to call "friends of Rocket7".
 |
Zipp Factory Team
These guys can ride any piece of cycling equipment they want, and they selected Rocket7. Brian Gavette, Director of Marketing claims, "My Rocket7's are definitely my most favorite piece of bicycling gear ever!" We are inclined to believe him because he now owns several pair! ! www.Zipp.com |

Chris Carmichael
Chris has been wearing Rocket7's since 2004. They tell us he keeps them on his desk and jokes with anyone who passes by, "If I had these shoes when I raced the Tour de France, I would have won!" These days, Chris coaches the best in the business. www.trainright.com |

Richard Bryne
Richard Bryne, owner of Speedplay pedals, loves his Rocket7's so much that he asked us to supply him with a "fleet" of shoes to demo in the Speedplay booth. Check out their booth at the Tour de California this year. As a pedal designer and former professional cyclist, Richard has our full attention when he talks shop. www.Speedplay.com |

Dan Nordstrom
Dan is an accomplished cyclist and knows a thing or two about outdoor equipment. Growing up in the Northwest, he's also an accomplished climber. He's retired from the family retail business to focus on manufacturing premium high-tech climbing gear. Check out his latest ventures: www.OutdoorResearch.com and www.ClubZum.com |

The Famous Comedian
We can't list his name here because his lawyers made it clear that "... he does not endorse your product...blah, blah , blah" However, we talked to him in 2004 at the Escape from Alcatraz in S.F. and he was still riding the Rocket7's that he purchased in 2003. In case you are wondering, he's a really good guy. He's definitely one of our all time favorite comedians. Check out this video clip of him from 2007 where he seemed to be genuinely happy to receive a special delivery from Rocket7! |
 |
John Curley
John is a favorite Northwest TV show host who also rides Rocket7's. He is currently training for Ironman France. John occassionally rides with the "Rocket7 Gang" and we can tell you that he's a serious athlete as well. In fact, we think he peaks just for the training rides! Read more about his TV show, Evening Magazine or contact him to be your next auctioneer at your charity fundraiser. |

KC Boutiette
KC is a five-time Olympian who grew up speedskating in Tacoma, WA. Rocket7 owner, Brian King, raced professionally with KC on the premier Hyper Wheels inline team during the early 90's. KC now owns a bike shop in Florida (selling Rocket7's) and has become a local authority on training triathletes. Read more. |
